MARINAS
User note:
About this chapter: Chapter 36 addresses the fire protection and prevention requirements for marinas. It was developed in response to the
complications encountered by a number of fire departments responsible for the protection of marinas as well as fire loss history in marinas
that lacked fire protection. Compliance with this chapter intends to establish safe practices in marina areas, provide an identification method
for mooring spaces in the marina, and provide fire fighters with safe operational areas and fire protection methods to extend hose lines in a
safe manner.
