Sevenpillars: ‘Bridging the Generational Gap’
Zechariah 8:4-6 New Living Translation (NLT)
4 “This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Once again
old men and women will walk Jerusalem’s streets with their
canes and will sit together in the city squares. 5 And the streets
of the city will be lled with boys and girls at play.
6 “This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: All this may
seem impossible to you now, a small remnant of God’s people.
But is it impossible for me? says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.
We see this scripture revealed as part of His mandate in our local
and national areas of inuence.
Sevenpillars: Our Heart Values
Family: The Heart of Community
Every church, like a person, has a personality. Our purpose
focuses on "what we do," and our style focuses on "how we do
it." The personality or lifestyle at Sevenpillars determines how we
go about doing life. This is developed out of a clear understanding
of biblical values to which we hold.
We as a ministry have aligned to the Church of the Nations
Governing Elders along with COTN churches worldwide. The
core reason is not because we all look the same, but because we
have the same heart (DNA). We hold to the same values.
Both Sevenpillars and COTN churches understand the principle
of building from relationship to structure, rather than structure
to relationship. Together, we embrace the following values:
Alignment
* Christ-centred lives, expressing the Lordship of Christ
* Apostolic alignment
* Accountability (as being under authority releases authority)
* The principle of spiritual Fathers and Sons
* Expressing the Father heart of God
