TRACKING DOWN FOY MOVIE STARS
In 1997 I wrote to the CENTER FOR MOTION PICTURE STUDY, a part of the
ACADEMY OF MOTION PICTURE ARTS AND SCIENCES ACADEMY
FOUNDATION in Los Angeles and asked them to research any and all
individuals associated with the movie industry in any way with the last name of
SPRINKLE or FOY. Only one reference was found to the name SPRINKLE and
it had nothing to do with WILL or MAY but several references to the name FOY
were found.
The following is a summary of the information the Academy sent me regarding
the FOY name which is contained in the movie industry archives. These
references are listings of movies in which a FOY name appears in the credits of
a movie:
