Benjamin’s second wife was MARY ELIZABETH PAYNE JACKS. She had one child by a
previous marriage named EMILY VIRGINIA JACKS and had seven children by Benjamin.
BENJAMIN and MARY’s first child was WILLIAM FRANKLIN FOY. WILLIAM FRANKLIN
FOY was BENJAMIN’s fourth child by blood; his fifth by law.

WILLIAM FRANKLIN [BUD] FOY was a rancher and businessman in Kosse, Texas. He
came to Limestone County, Texas with his parents when he was four years old and lived
in Limestone County until he died. WILLIAM joined the Baptist Church in Kosse, Texas in
1886.
