invested in the paint and wall paper store owned by their son, ROBERT LEE BAIRD. They
continued to work side by side until LEE retired in 1967. After retiring they spent their time
raising cattle on an 80 acre farm in Beasley, Texas. They sold the farm in 1973 and, at last,
were able to enjoy their beautiful house and yard. Gardening absorbed most of their time.

LEE was a slender, silver haired, blue eyed man who loved his RUBY more than he did that
4th of July when they married. RUBY is a beautiful brown eyed woman who cherished LEE
and their home and all their children. Their children were raised in the First Baptist Church
in Rosenberg, Texas.

LEE and RUBY celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on July 4th 1974. LEE died October
22, 1977.

As of this date, February 1980 RUBY is still living in Rosenberg, Texas.
