Fernando started his career with Azucarera in 1989 (initially Compañía de Industrias Agrícolas) where he worked as Process Chemist at Salamanca sugar factory. In 1991 he started to work in R&D department at all company sugar factories with various responsibilities until appointed as R&D Director in 2007.
Fernando is a BSc graduate in chemistry from Salamanca University.
