Christian joined Illovo Sugar in 2010 responsible for project evaluation and soon thereafter Illovo’s Group Strategic Planning. In 2016, he joined the Illovo Executive team and March 2019 moved to AB Sugar’s Strategy and Business Development team where he’s responsible for business development activity.

Prior to joining Illovo, Christian worked for Tate & Lyle and Cargill for 15 years in the UK holding a number of molasses and sugar roles with particular focus on African and Asian markets and new sugar developments.
