4.6.3 Combination L3 - Sciences
641 candidates took a written examination in Language III. Out of these, 275 combined this
examination with an examination in one scientific subject. Only 1 pupil combined L3 with 2 scientific
subjects (Chemistry and Physics). In this graph we can see a frequency of combination:

The graph shows that candidates with language orientation are also interested in mastering sciences
in line with European key competences for lifelong learning.
4.7 Students Without A Language Section (SWALS)
This year, 167 Students Without A Language Section registered for the European Baccalaureate
session.
