Christmas Walk

Jingle Run adds new features!

A chip timing system will be used during this
year’s Jingle Run, slated for 8:30 a.m. Satur-
day, Dec. 9 starting at the Victory Center,
218 S. State Street. Registration is at 7:30
a.m. Registered runners will receive a race t-
shirt along with a post-run party. Also new
to this year’s run is a miniature health fair
featuring Hammond Henry Hospital, Fare-
way, Maple Leaf CrossFit, Sweat, and Geneseo Community Center. Race
winners also enjoy new medals at this year’s run. All registered runners
will be entered into a drawing for four $25 gift certificates from Casey’s.

Geneseo Historical Museum

Geneseo’s Historical Museum has a full
schedule for the Walk! At 5:45 p.m. music
will fill the air with Nancy Green on piano
and Ashley Buck playing violin. The Front
Parlor String Band will perform at 6:30 p.m.
Pam Edwards and Geneseo Community
Choir will perform in the Carriage House at
6:30 p.m. Tours of the museum will also be offered.

Visit with Alpacas

Peppertree Alpacas will be in the Christmas Parade
starting at 5 p.m. They will also be on display in front
of My Moon Creations at 104 S. State Street. Pepper-
tree sells mittens, capes and gloves inside the store.
