Step 5: Final Draft:
Should university education be tuition free?
Tuition is an amount of money that students must pay every semester to attend to
classes at university. It is a fact that universities need a lot of money to improve their
services, but there are many people that don’t have money to pay the tuition. I think that
university education should be tuition free in order to everyone can study. It could be
possible with government’s help.
It is known that universities need money to satisfy their necessities such as
improve infrastructure, hire personnel, and buy furniture; but also, there are a lot of people
who don’t have money to pay the tuition. [Each semester, students must pay an exaggerate
amount of money] besides that [there are extra expenses as transportation, food, and
photocopies.] Moreover, [the books that are required are also expensive.] [All of these
reasons mate it impossible that poor people can study at university.]
In fact, the government cannot help all the universities because it has priorities
and there isn’t enough money for everyone, but the government must have a budget only
for education in order to help universities. [Taxes can help universities and reduce the
amount of tuitions.] Something important is that [education is necessary for the country
to grow up, so the government should invest on universities.] Furthermore, [most of the
time tuition’s money is used for other things that don’t have relation with the university,
so it should be banned.]
