Bricklayer and bricks
It is a group game, which we can play in the gym or at the playground. We choose
one player to be the "bricklayer" and we draw the line (5-10m). The line is the only
way that the bricklayer can move (left or right) he mustn't move forward and
backwards. Other players "the bricks" stand in a distance from the line. When the
leading person gives the signal, bricks run to the other side and the bricklayer tries
to catch them. When the bricklayer catches the bricks, they sit along the drawn line.
Every time the bricklayer catches somebody, the space on the line is getting
smaller. The game is over when all bricks are caught except one who becomes a
new bricklayer.
