Leadership Meeting (via Zoom)
4/15/2020
Members Present: Daniels, Mack, Jacobs, Porter, Scott, Givens, and Holmes

Wellness Check Reports

Members reported out status of team members and stakeholders. ILT brainstormed
ideas to show appreciation to those parents/guardians/families who are essential
workers. Possible idea shared was a PAES schoolwide thank you card drive for
delivery to local hospitals. Follow-up at next week’s meeting.

Failing Student List Report

There are four students currently failing one or more subjects: Ja’Caleb Nelson
(Godwin), Trey Porter (Scott), Mason Webb (Taylor), and Jaida Moman (Taylor).
These students & parents will have an End-of-Year Conference with Principal Daniels
on 4/22 to discuss the grade repair process as outlined in the PAES Remote Learning
Plan.

Remote Learning

Positive reports on remote learning lessons conducted by teachers. Suggestions –
review online netiquette on Zoom with students and reaching out to students that have
online sporadic activity.

iReady Usage Report – Teachers should reiterate to students to monitor their usage
by clicking “My Progress” and focus on passing the lessons.

Student Handbook 2020-2021

The Leadership Team was asked to review the draft of the student handbook and
provide feedback which included: formatting, organization of ideas, 7 Habits
language, mission statement, classroom visitation, birthday parties, and page eight
(parent information). Follow-up on revisions with occur in future meetings.
