Harlan’s desk……….

• First thing, the Pro Shop would like to give a shout out to all the

members who took the July issue of The Dew Sweeper to heart and

started to spend some time on the putting green. I have never seen the

putting green as busy as it has been the last month. Let’s continue to

make putting a key component to your practice routine.

• Many of the members have noticed the golf course has been busier

than they can remember. Total rounds for July was 2,818. This is the

most rounds played since the year 2005. In comparison to 2019, we

only did 2,050 rounds last July (remember it rained every other day!).

We are only 1,300 rounds behind the 2019 total! The 20 year average

for July rounds is 2,666. A big “THANK YOU” to the membership for

coming out and supporting the club.

• There is still time to sign up for the Men’s Member Guest event, “The

Cup”. It is a 36 hole quota point event on August 7-8. 2 man teams will

battle it out over the tournament ready golf course. If you are
interested, you have until Wednesday, August 5 to sign up.

• Also, the Pro Shop will be running a mid summer sale the weekend of
August 7-9. Buy 1 article of clothing at member price, any additional

clothing pieces will be 40% off the retail price.
