2020 Year of the North Shore Member!

You have heard me say this a lot since the end of last golf season but what does it really mean?
In the last newsletter, I challenged each member to lower their handicap by 2 shots in 2020!

“That’s all nice and everything but how can I do that?” every member’s thoughts while reading
this.

Since I put out that challenge, my staff and I have been thinking of ways and tools that we can
give the membership to improve their game. Here is just a sample of some of the ideas and

tools:

TrackMan Simulator – If you haven’t used the simulator this winter, what are you waiting
for? Nick, Bill and I have given lessons to numerous members with great success. I thor-

oughly enjoy giving lessons this way……outside influences are none, great exchange of
ideas, and instant accurate feedback is given. The simulator comes down mid-March,
don’t wait too long to get started.

Practice with the Pros – this is a new program for the summer of 2020. Nick, Bill and I will
each set an hour aside to practice every week. We invite and encourage the member-
ship to come and practice with us. We will share how we practice and some of the Tour

Pro’s practice drills. This is a great opportunity to learn how to practice and not just
“beat balls.”
Attention Working Ladies! – This summer we will have some evening golfing for the ladies.

Teeing off at 5:30pm, you will play a fun filled 9 holes and then enjoy a cool beverage on
the patio! What a great way to meet the membership and have some fun doing it.

These are just of the few things the Pro Shop has in store for this golfing summer. The April
Dew Sweeper will have much more details. There will be no more excuses for your play.
