at the waisted neck, flanked with a scrolled
loop handle and a S-shaped spout, the lid

MILK JUG AND COVER
Kangxi, the mounts possibly Dutch
The pear-shaped vessel painted with floral
sprigs, with foliate moulded panels enclosing
‘Long Elizas’, flanked with a loop handle with
a white metal mount attaching the flat lid with
a hinge, the mount with an integral spout.

The screen raised on a sturdy rectangular
base, with an openwork gallery and pedestal,
all supporting an oval fragment of a blue and
white ‘river landscape’ dish, mounted in a
frame with keyfret border. Overall: 29.5cm (11
1/2in) high (2).
