mythical beasts on rocky riverbanks, ducks
and birds beneath overhanging flowering
branches, the necks flanked by ruyi form

from rockwork and scattered flowerheads, the
feet with single lotus stems.

Kangxi
The deep vessel finely enamelled with lappet
panels enclosing sprays of eight flower
varieties including lotus, peony and prunus,
all below a band depicting the attributes of
the Four Arts and other Precious Objects,
the interior with a central floral roundel, the
interior mouth rim with the Three Abundances
reserved on a diaper ground.
