TWO AMBER AND HARDSTONE
BRACELETS
Late Qing Dynasty
The first with spherical amber beads spaced
with white metal shou beads and a miniature
skull, the tassel with multiple pink hardstone
beads; the second with amber beads spaced
with jadeite, the tassel suspending further
amber pieces. The largest: 25.5cm (10in) long
(2).

A GOLD REPOUSSÉ BRACELET
19th century
The exterior decorated with cartouches
enclosing mythical beasts on a punched
ground, with six five-character inscriptions in
seal script, the inside engraved with a single
character 美, mei, with a hinge and clasp
mechanism; together with a jadeite bangle.
