         A RARE CARVED LONGQUAN CELADON BOWL,              The current bowl is known as a lianzi wan, or lotus bowl,
         LIANZI WAN                                        for its similarity in form to that of a lotus pod. The form
         YONGLE-XUANDE PERIOD (1403-1435)                  originated in Imperial porcelains from the Yongle period, and
                                                           retained its popularity in the reign of Xuande. However, it is
