                                A WHITE JADE PLAQUE
                                QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
                                The rectangular plaque is finely carved to each side with a panel surmounted by a central
                                ruyi-head flanked by a pair of cloud scrolls. One side is carved with a smiling boy holding
                                a snake coiled around a staff bearing a chime suspending a twin-fish. The other side is
                                carved with a the characters jin’ou yonggu in seal script below a pair of kui-dragons. The
                                stone is of an even white tone.
