          of sacred fungus. Rich flambe glaze with red and purple streaks. 8 inches by

551.  VASE FORMED OF OVER-LAPPING LETTUCE LEAVES, with splashed red

      Aand clair de lune glaze.  fine example of the i8th century archaistic pieces. Height

554.  BOTTLE-SHAPED VASE OF WHITE PORCELAIN. The neck has been
         broken and mounted with a silver rim. A pale yellowish flambe glaze with red

          patches, but speckled with brownish black, so that it almost looks like serpentine.
          9f inches high. i8th century.
