HARDWOOD FOUR-POSTER BED AND
SIDE TABLE
Late Qing Dynasty
The elaborate sectional bed carved all
over with scrolling foliage, archaic scrolls,
dragons and phoenix motifs, the posts with
reticulated sections and crowned with stylised
dragon finials, the head board with a central
monster mask possibly enclosing a stylised
monogram; the side table decorated en-suite.
