Pierced and carved with a large lingzhi spray and
smaller lingzhi stems intertwined with two peaches
supported by a twisting leafy branch, with two small
bats in flight.

十九世紀 瑪瑙福至心靈把件
The peach is a symbol of longevity, and the word
for bat in Chinese is fu which is a homophone for
‘blessing’. Together the bat, peach and linghzi form
the rebus 福至心靈 Fuzhi Xinling, may your heart be
filled with intelligence when blessings arrive.

AN AGATE CARVING OF A HORSE
Naturalistically carved standing, with intricately
incised mane covering the neck and its tail gently
swayed against the thigh, its head slightly turned to
the right side.
