COVER
Late Ming Dynasty
Finely enamelled with two rows of lotus flower
heads alternated with tulip blossoms, issued by a
dense ground of leafy scrolling tendrils on a bright
turquoise ground, the base with a large green five-
petal lotus centred on a yinyang symbol surrounded
by small flowers, the cover similarly decorated
with scholar’s objects with scattered blossoms on
cracked-ice ground.
