          A BRONZE RITUAL FOOD VESSEL, YU
          LATE SHANG DYNASTY, 13TH-11TH CENTURY BC
          The deep bowl is raised on a tall, spreading foot and is decorated below the rim with a triple bow-string
          band interrupted by three taotie masks cast in high relief. A single clan sign is cast on the bottom of the
          interior. The bronze has a mottled milky-green patina with areas of malachite encrustation.
