a) 36 x 25 cm. Album with 55 ôban, comprising 11 triptychs, 5 partial triptychs and 12 single sheets. The images show the
changed city scape and novel activities during the Meiji era, kabuki plays and sumo wrestlers. Artists include Utagawa
Yoshitora, Yoshikazu, Kuniaki, Kuniteru, Hiroshige III, Toyohara Chikanobu, and Kunichika. b) Ca. 36 x 24 cm. Album with
39 ôban, comprising 11 triptychs, one partial triptych and four single sheets from a.o. Edo jiman. The images show kabuki plays
and bijin, one triptych shows Prince Genji and awabi diver, one shows the shichifukujin. Artists include Toyohara Kunichika,
Chikanobu, Utagawa Yoshitora, Kunisada II, Hiroshige II and Kunishige. Good to very good impressions. (2)
