    A YELLOW JADE ‘DRAGON’ VASE AND COVER
    QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)

    清 黃玉龍紋雙耳蓋瓶

    The tapering body of the vase is decorated to the sides with semi-circular apertures, below a pair of
    handles to the neck shaped as two chilong dragons. The cover is surmounted by a fnial in the form of a
    further chilong dragon. The stone is of a yellowish-celadon tone, with some darker brown areas.
