清乾隆或更晚 窯變釉三羊首壺 六字篆書款 A fambé glazed vase of mallet form with three rams handles was sold in
Christies Hong Kong, 30 May 2006, lot 1369.
The powerfully potted vase is after an archaic bronze shape with a broad
waisted neck above a ribbed globular body and fared foot. The shoulder is
moulded with three rams-head handles. The exterior is covered in a rich dark
red and purple glaze with light blue streaks to the sides, thinning to a beige
tone around the extremities and the mouth rim. The base is covered in a
mottled caramel glaze.
