ding, the lid with a coiled mythical beast
finial, fitted box; a mottled grey and brown
jade archaistic disc, bi, carved in relief with
chilong, carved wood stand; a grey jade
incised ‘deer’ plaque; a yellow and russet
jade archaistic tube, cong. The largest: 17cm
(6 3/4in) wide (4).

The cup carved in high relief as a stylised
lotus flower, with a hornless dragon
clambering through the petals in high relief;
the mottled brown and black jade pendant
plaque formed as a stylised chilong head
biting a ritual blade. The cup: 9cm (3 1/2in)
