Guangxu
The pear-shaped vase with subtly moulded peach-shaped
cartouches to each side, raised on a straight foot rim and rising to a
tapering quatre-lobed mouth flanked with lug handles, all covered in
a deep scarlet transmutation glaze thinning to a violet streaked grey
hue at the extremities, the base ground down.

Yongzheng seal mark, 19th century
The quatre-lobed vessel rising from a flaring foot rim to bulbous body
and up to a subtly waisted neck flanked with moulded beast mask
loop handles, all covered in a rich crimson-coloured transmutation
glaze, thinning to a vibrant lavender hue at the corners.
