A LARGE GREENISH-WHITE JADE FACETTED BALUSTER VASE AND COVER
18TH CENTURY
The body is carved to all sides in low relief with branches of prunus above a band of petal lappets. The
waisted neck is carved with two elephant's-head handles. The domed cover has a raised facetted and
hollowed fnial and is incised with a band of stylised fower petals. The stone is of a delicate green tone
with some opaque white mottling.
