glistening drops of dew, While evening lingers on Though people’s feelings
tossed by the wind this summer night, may have changed,
across autumn plains, dawn has already arrived — the plum blossoms
appear like unstrung jewels where, amid the clouds, of this place from my past,
scattered everywhere. could the moon be hiding? still have the scent of long ago.
