          A SMALL CARVED DING CONICAL BOWL
          NORTHERN SONG DYNASTY (AD 960-1127)
          With widely fared sides, the interior is fnely incised with petals radiating from
          the center. The bowl is covered inside and out with a glaze of ivory tone that
          continues over the shallow ring foot onto the base. The unglazed mouth rim is
          mounted with a metal band.
