JAVA UNGLAZED
Note: The terracotta wares below were probably mostly
made during or around the period of the Javanese
Majapahit Kingdom (1293 to circa 1500). Most were
probably made in Java. However, several of the kendis
may have been made in China during the Song and
subsequent period, especially those with a mammiform
spout, (see section on Song to Yuan.) As described below, K883.
