A jade carving of a buffalo of nearly identical proportion, and similarly
pierced with an aperture through the chin and lower mouth, was
excavated from tomb no. BRM1-yi of the Western Zhou Yu State tomb 西周 小玉鹿
complex at Baoji city, Shaanxi province, illustrated in Yuguo Jade Wares,
Beijing, 2010, p. 148 (185).
