A SMALL DARKISH GREEN
GE-HALBERD BLADE
WESTERN ZHOU DYNASTY,
C. 1100-771 BC.
The jade is carved with a arching blade
asymmetrically tapering to a triangular tip, with
a hole pierced below the slightly narrower tang
extending to a notched edge.

A similar but slightly larger (14.3 cm.) ge was excavated
from tomb 502, Rui State tomb in Shaanxi province,
illustrated in Golden Age of the Rui State: Zhou
Dynasty Treasures from Hancheng, Shaanxi Province,
Shanghai, no.26, p.74 (fig. 1).

可參考一件同本拍品器型類似且亦於末端有兩個齒槽的
戈，但略大（14.3 公分），見《金玉華年：陝西韓城
出土周代芮國文物珍品》，上海， 2012年，圖版26，
頁74（圖一）。

The jade is thinly carved with a long blade with a median ridge and 藍田山房舊藏，1991年購於台北
