of Natsu yosoi no musume (A Woman in a
Summer Kimono), depicting the waitress
Nakatani Tsuru standing in a yukata, tying an
obi trailing on the tatami mat floor, dated and
signed Taisho kyunen hachigatsu Goyo ga
(August, Taisho 9 [1920], painted by Goyo),
with artist’s round seal Goyo, the square family
seal Hashiguchi on the lower right margin with
seals Suri Hirai Koichi (Printer Hirai Koichi) and
Hori Maeda Kentaro (Carver Maeda Kentaro)
and a further square seal; on verso the limited
edition seal Hyaku gojubu genteiban, dai [...]
go (150 limited edition, unnumbered) followed
by publisher’s seal Goyo hanga kenkyujo
no in (Seal of the Goyo Prints Research
Association).
