A RARE CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL TRIPOD 'DRAGON' CENSER AND
COVER
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The censer is brightly enamelled with a central band of alternating pink 重要歐洲私人珍藏
and blue sinous dragons between bands of floral scrolls. The lobed base is
enamelled with meandering lotus scrolls and is supported on three elephant- 清康熙 掐絲琺瑯龍紋象腿三足蓋爐
head feet. The reticulated cover is skillfully worked with a writhing dragon 來源:
chasing the flaming pearl amongst vaporous clouds. The base is further 於1989年前購自德國
decorated with a cracked ice design with scattered flower-heads.
