A WHITE JADE CARVING OF A TIGER
MING DYNASTY (1368-1644)
The jade is carved as a recumbent tiger with short ears and its tail flicked over
its haunches. The stone is of even-white colour with areas of russet inclusions.

A YELLOW AND RUSSET JADE 'CHAMPION' VASE
17TH CENTURY
The stone is carved as two octagocal vases conjoined by an eagle with
outspread wings and standing on a crouched mythical beast. The reverse is
connected by the scrolling tail of the beast, below a further winged animal.
