Two waitresses stop for a brief conversation, both wearing red
aprons and striped obi, and one holds a sake kettle in her hand.
They stand beside a sign which reads Eiraku-an/ Kyoto Gion Niken-
jaya, demise 'Eiraku-an: branch of the Tea-house of the Two Eaves,
Gion, Kyoto'.
The same print is in the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, accession
number 34.342.

kimono beside a large standing screen (tsuitate) decorated with a
large karashishi. The same print is in the collection of the Tokyo
National Museum, object no. A-10569_1252; and the Museum of
Fine Arts, Boston, accession no. 42.564.
