overall in gold hiramaki-e with mon scattered
among pine, plum and bamboo, containing
two brocade covers wrapping 100 poem
cards and 100 poet playing cards, the cards
of stiffened paper decorated with gold leaf to
one side, the other in ink and colour depicting
various figures from the Tale of Genji
