‘PALACE LADIES’ SCREEN
Qing Dynasty
Skilfully decorated on the front with a
detailed scene of court ladies within a palatial
landscape engaged in various leisurely
pursuits, all above the ‘Hundred Antiques’, the
reverse depicting numerous birds including
egrets, crane, pheasants and Mandarin ducks
all beside blossoming peonies and trees.

ALTAR TABLE
18th century
The rectangular top decorated with a central
mountainous river landscape panel, flanked by
floriform panels of birds amongst flowering plants,
within floral cartouche borders on a brocade
pattern ground, above a pierced frieze and
supported by pairs of legs, joined by a stylised
ruyi head panel, with floral, foliate and lingzhi
decoration.
