Scholar’s Rocks
A set of four paintings, hanging scrolls, ink on paper, each inscribed
by the artist with a poetic couplet in running script, one painting
dedicated to Weichun, dated wuzi chu dong (1948, early winter), and
the four paintings variously signed Chunshu (2), Buxusheng Shu, and
Zhanyuansou, with twelve artist’s seals, eleven reading Yunxi Shisheng
(2), Zhanyuansou, Wujin Deng shi, Qingcheng Laoren, Shisheng,
Buxusheng (2), Baiyun Xiyin, Chunshu shi hua, and Lanling Laohuashi.
