           The interior impressed with a central lotus medallion, surrounded by   Potted with a wide, slightly convex well, the low, curved cavetto
           eight peony blossoms on the cavetto, all against a feather-patterned   encircled by a flat flange, covered overall in a thick, spotted light-blue
           ground, the design accented with green and ocher, the unglazed base   glaze, thinning at the edges to a mushroom color, the side of the well
           partially revealing a layer of white slip.        and flange splashed with purple, all supported on the short foot ring
           5 3/8in (13.7cm) long                             encircling three spur marks.
