ɅNSYS HFSS: ɅNSYS HFSS is a Finite Element Analysis tool for simulating full-wave electromagnetic
fields. HFSS incorporates finite element, integral equation, and hybrid methods to solve a wide range
of microwave, RF and high-speed digital applications.

ɅNSYS Maxwell: ɅNSYS Maxwell is a Finite Element Analysis tool for electromagnetic field
simulation, primarily for engineers tasked with designing and analyzing electromagnetic and
electromechanical devices, including motors, actuators, transformers, sensors and coils. ɅNSYS
Maxwell incorporates finite element method solvers to solve static, frequency-domain, and time-
         varying electromagnetic and electric fields.

ɅNSYS SIwave: ɅNSYS SIwave is a specialized design platform for power integrity, signal integrity and
Electromagnetic interference (EMI) analysis of electronic packages and PCBs.

         1.2 Introduction to ɅNSYS Workbench

The ɅNSYS Workbench platform is the framework upon which the industry's broadest and deepest
suite of advanced engineering simulation technology is built. An innovative project schematic view
ties together the entire simulation process, guiding the user through even complex multiphysics
analyses with drag-and-drop simplicity. With bi-directional CAD connectivity, an automated project
level update mechanism, pervasive parameter management and integrated optimization tools, the
ɅNSYS Workbench Platform delivers unprecedented productivity, enabling simulation driven product
development. The ɅNSYS Workbench environment is an intuitive up-front finite element analysis tool
that is used in conjunction with CAD systems and/or DesignModeler. ɅNSYS Workbench is a software
environment for performing structural, thermal, and electromagnetic analyses. The class focuses on
geometry creation and optimization, attaching existing geometry, setting up the finite element model,
solving, and reviewing results. The class will describe how to use the code as well as basic finite
element simulation concepts and results interpretation.

The following is the list of analyses that can be performed by using ɅNSYS Workbench:
         1. Design Assessment
         2. Electric
         3. Explicit Dynamics
         4. Fluid Flow (CFX)
         5. Fluid Flow (FLUENT)
         6. Harmonic Response
         7. I.C. Engine
         8. Linear Buckling.
