• Generates hex/wedge elements
• Meshes source surfaces
(a) Body must have topologically identical source and target faces
• Side faces must be mappable
(a) A sweep path must be identified
• Only one source and one target face is allowed
(a) Alternative ‘thin’ sweep algorithm can have multiple source & target faces
