We are very excited to present our first Daylily Catalog!

Shepard Hill Daylily Gardens has a large variety of hearty, beautiful daylilies for you to
choose from. All plants purchased will be double fans, with great roots. They are grown
here in Maine, which is Zone 5.

We have many colors and varieties to choose from allowing you to create your own
beautiful garden that will be enjoyed for years to come!

I am dedicating this first catalog to my father, David Chase, who many know has an
exceptional green thumb! He and my mother ran their own perennial business for many
years in Yarmouth, Maine, called Golden Glow Gardens. He and I have shared a love for
daylilies and he is the reason that I started to grow them. I still grow and sell Orange
Bounty (McEwen, 1975), which is the very first daylily my father bought and the first one
he gave to me to start my own garden.

My siblings and I had a daylily named for him for his 90th birthday, it is called Dave
Chase Golden Glow. It is pictured above and is for sale in our catalog. Dad just
celebrated his 92nd birthday and we continue to compare notes on our daylilies.
