2nd Annual Texas Lone Star
Open Bid Calling Contest!
The first year in October 2016 - was a big success and
a great time. Contestants came from other states and
all categories of auctioneering.
It is a “no holds barred” bid calling contests and
auction that showcases the brave and determined.
Contestants provide their own quality items to be
judges on and to help raise funds for TAA and it
charities, including the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital
for Children. A professional panel of judges ranks the
top 4 wiht one being a WILD CARD. then there is
shot gun finals for the winner. The event is held in
one day , October 27 - Friday , in the historic Cowtown
Coliseum in the Stockyards. It is held as part of the
Red Steagall Cowboy Festival and there is no additional
entry fee to watch and bid ! Plan to join us for the
