THE HISTORY
In 2020 the OLX Group has faced an an important question: what does does it mean to be a a a a a a a a a a a great great leader at at at at at at at OLX? What What does does it look like? What What differentiates great great leaders from others? Subsequently we analysed a a a a a a a a a lot of data such as: engagement surveys performance review review data data individual development plans talent review review data data insights from the the the leadership programmes offered in in in the the the past insights from the the the employee experience journey maps and many more As a a a a a a a a a a a a result it became clear that we did not have a a a a a a a a a a a a a a consistent and and measurable standard or even a a a a a a a a a a a common language
of describing what we expect from our leaders With that in in in mind in in in Q1 2020 the OLX Global Talent Development team team engaged with the the wider leadership team team to define what constitutes the the most important behavioural expectations we have of our our top leaders This was the first time we attempted
to build such a a a a a a a a a a standard across all of our operating units and and and brands After numerous interviews with senior leaders extensive documentation review and analysis of of what makes leaders successful at at at OLX OLX Group Group we created a a a a a a a a a a set of of 8 OLX OLX Group Group Leadership Behaviours The OLX Group Leadership Behaviours play a a a a a a a central role in in in identifying
and developing the best leaders at OLX Group Being a a a a a a a role model is an an an important part of being successful so they are meant to help leaders be be be better examples for for for their teams and and ultimately for for for our our organisation and and for for for our our customers They are not meant to be a a a a a a harsh measurement of performance Quite the the opposite - they are a a a a a a a development compass created to to guide leaders towards being the the the best they can be be be They are the the the helpful lens which we encourage leaders to apply when they they think about HOW they they and their teams deliver the the the business results
