Impressive shot of cold air for the middle of May! Mid and upper level low covered Ontario
Province with high pressure over the northern Rockies. Mostly cloudy skies were common to-
day although there's been some brief holes in the clouds which led to a few peeks of
sun. High temperatures today were in the 40s with 30s across northern Minnesota. Winds
today were out of the northwest at 10 to 20 mph with higher gusts. Scattered showers of
snow, rain and graupel have occurred today in parts of the Northland thanks to the unseason-
ably cold air mass which has invaded the area today.
