As, of old, apostles heard it
        Dance, then where every you may be, By the Galilean lake,
        I am the lord of the Dance said he, Turned from home and toil and kindred,
        And I'll lead you all, wherever you may be, Leaving all for His dear sake. 2/5
        And I'll lead you all in the dance said he. 2/5
                                                                Jesus calls us from the worship
        Verse 3 Of the vain world's golden store,
        I danced on the Sabbath when I cured the lame, From each idol that would keep us,
        The Holy people said it was a shame, Saying : Christian, love me more. 3/5
        They whipped and they stripped and hung me
        high And left me there on a cross to die. In our joys and in our sorrows,
                                                                Days of toil and hours of ease,
        Dance, then wherever you may be, Still He calls, in cares and pleasures,
        I am the lord of the Dance said he, Christian love me more than these. 4/5
        And I'll lead you all, wherever you may be,
        And I'll lead you all in the dance said he. 3/5 Jesus calls us! By Thy mercies,
                                                                Saviour, make us hear Thy call,
        Verse 4 Give our hearts to Thine obedience,
        I danced on the Friday, when the sky turned Serve and love Thee best of all. 5/5
        black, It‟s hard to dance with the devil on your HOME

        gone, But I am the dance and I still go on. King of my life, I crown Thee now,
                                                                Thine shall the glory be;

                                                                Lest I forget Gethsemane,
        Verse 5 Lest I forget Thine agony; Lest I forget Thy love
        They cut me down and I leapt up high for me, Lead me to Calvary.
        I am the life that'll never, never die,
        I'll live in you, if you live in me, Show me the tomb where Thou wast laid,
        I am the lord of the dance said he.                     Tenderly mourned and wept;

        Dance, then wherever you may be, Guarded Thee whilst Thou slept.
        I am the lord of the Dance said he,
        And I'll lead you all, wherever you may be, Chorus
        And I'll lead you all in the dance said he. 5/5 Lest I forget Gethsemane,

        tumult
        Jesus calls us! O'er the tumult Let me like Mary, through the gloom,
        Of our life's wild restless sea,                        Come with a gift to Thee;
        Day by day His sweet voice soundeth, Show to me now the empty tomb, Lead me to
        Saying: Christian, follow me. 1/5 Calvary.
